“Dr. Pomerantz is a very good dentist with excellent training. He fabricates crowns on site (which is rare). The hygienists have been mostly good over the years, with some better than others. You'll always get a thorough cleaning, but sometimes you'll end up with a sparkling mouth. Procedures are always expertly handled by Dr. Pomerantz himself. The office equipment is a little dated, but still very clean. Don't expect niceties like jaw braces, light-diffusing sunglasses, TVs, etc., however. Overall, Dr. Pomerantz is one of the best dentists I have found in NYC and I recommend the office.”

About Dr. Jeffrey Pomerantz
Dr. Pomerantz is originally from Albany, NY. He received his DMD from Farleigh Dickinson University. After completing his dental degree, he served as a staff general dentist at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, DC. He then went on to a 3 year post-doctoral residency at the V.A. hospital in Wilmington, Delaware in Prosthodontics. Both at Walter Reed, and at his residency, he worked with patients who were medically compromised, requiring extensive dental treatment. He had a faculty appointment at the University of Pennsylvania as a prosthodontics consultant.
He has been published in the most prestigious dental and medical journals with articles on Prosthetic dentistry and has lectured internationally. While practicing in Santa Monica, California, he was on the staff of St. John's Hospital.
Currently he maintains a private practice in Manhattan and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University. Dr. Pomerantz is an avid skier who volunteers on the winter weekends as a ski patroller, and keeps in shape in the off season by running, bicycling and swimming.

Dr Pomerantz is the best! I have been going to him for 15 years. My friends and family go to him too! Everyone at the office is so sweet. His dental hygienists are always nice and are always gentle (I can’t be a chicken when it comes to dentists). Jenniffer is the newest hygienists and I can’t say enough good things about her! I hope he doesn’t retire anytime soon
