About Dr. Jennifer Naranjo
Dr. Naranjo was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. She completed her dental education at the University of Guayaquil (UG), obtaining the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2006. She then pursued further training at the UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry-first in a one-year preceptorship in Prosthodontics and later completing a three-year specialty and residency program, earning a Certificate in Prosthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry. Part of her training included a two-month rotation at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Department of Head and Neck Surgery. She also assisted in teaching Occlusion and Removable Prosthodontics to undergraduate dental students.
For many years, Dr. Naranjo provided dental care to senior patients at numerous nursing homes in the greater Houston area. This experience deepened her desire to educate and help her patients choose the best treatment options for long-term health benefits rather than just quick fixes. In her free time, she enjoys running, playing tennis, making music, volunteering at church, and traveling. Dr. Naranjo is fluent in both Spanish and English.
