Hey there! I’m Dr. Jenny Perna, and I’ve been working as a dentist focusing on making smiles beautiful and keeping families’ teeth healthy since I finished my training in Asheville, NC. I love being involved in my community and supporting my fellow dental professionals. In this letter, I want to share a bit about myself, where I come from, and why I’m so passionate about dentistry. I grew up in Merritt Island on Florida’s east coast, where I marvelled at space shuttle launches from my backyard. My passion for creativity led me to dance, sing, and act. Working for a dentist during college taught me how to combine artistry and science in dentistry. I completed my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Nova Southeastern University in 2014. I was deeply involved in my local community, serving on the executive boards of dental organizations and joining dental mission trips abroad, where I saw how dentistry can truly change lives. After dental school, I pursued a General Practice Residency (GPR), refining my skills and learning advanced procedures to enhance my clinical practice. I’m grateful to be a part of dentistry, dedicated to serving my patients. With over 500 hours of advanced training, including courses like Kois, AIE implant studies, imP.R.E.S. cosmetic training, and AAFE Botox and Filler, I’m committed to staying at the forefront of my field. Proudly affiliated with the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, I strive to treat oral conditions to empower patients with preventive knowledge for long-term oral health.
