Dr. Jesus Martinez attended the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD). He has been practicing dentistry for over 31 years including four years as a Naval Dental Officer for the US Navy, serving military families first in Bethesda, MD, then later in Okinawa, Japan. Dr. Jesus Martinez obtained his postdoctoral degree in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City. Immediately after graduating, Dr. Martinez dedicated one year to the Craniofacial Team at the same prestigious institution where he also completed a Fellowship in Clinical Orthodontics. Dr. Martinez is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and Hispanic Dental Association. Dr. Martinez has had a passion for orthodontics since age 13, and today he loves working with children and adults and helping them enjoy a better smile. Dr. Martinez is licensed to practice dentistry in Puerto Rico, New York, New Jersey, and Florida. Since the year 2000, Dr. Martinez has practiced in our beautiful city of Miami where his professionalism is portrayed in every beautiful, healthy smile he has created.
