About Dr. Jiexiong Yang

I grew up in Ottawa, Canada. I worked a few years in the field but ultimately returned to school to pursue further education in the field of health and dental medicine. I graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where I obtained my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and subsequently completed my General Practice Residency program at Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis.
I was an active member of the St Paul District Dental Society, Minnesota Dental Association, American Dental Association when I was in Minnesota and am looking forward to continuing my involvement with my local dental association here in Denver, Colorado.
Having just recently moved to Colorado, I am enjoying my time outdoors with my dog Zeus and am looking forward to snowboarding more during the winter months and really getting to know the Colorado Rockies.

Very Friendly office, I just didn’t feel there was attention to detail as far a my teeth cleaning, I got sprayed in the face so many times, and I didn’t leave with that clean teeth feeling that I have with every other dentist I’ve gone to. The Dentist was very gentle with the tools though, which is always a plus.

Everything was great. Even though my hygienist was a temp, she was professional and friendly! Dr. Yang was kind and easy to talk to; they definitely helped me get over my fear of going to the dentist. The only weird thing was that the receptionist appears to laugh constantly... I thought she was laughing at me on the phone, but when I went into the office, I realized she does it to everyone in all contexts. It must be a mannerism of hers, but it definitely caught me off-guard.

My first visit to Dr. Yang's office was as enjoyable as a trip to the dentist could be. Everyone from the receptionist to the dental assistant was personable, friendly, and professional. Dr. Yang explained everything clearly before proceeding and was very attentive to my needs. I left my old dentist for various reasons, and my experience with Dr. Yang made me feel like I made the right choice!

First dentist I’ve found in Denver that didn’t feel like they were taking advantage of me/trying to rip me off! Had pretty much given up on finding an honest and helpful dentist before I found this office. Great "bedside" manner exhibited by Dr. Yang and her lead hygenist, Amber, and excellent and clear communication from Shirley the Office Manager!

Amber the Dental Hygienist was so nice, gentle and efficient. Dr. Yang was right on time, very thorough and very nice. I couldn’t be happier with my experience. An exam, cleaning, and fluoride in a total of 40 minutes can not be beat.

Dr Yang took over from Dr Frank's practice. We loved loved loved Dr Frank! But we know already that Dr Yang is going to be just as awesome as Dr Frank. She is patient, kind, caring, and so knowledgeable! My mom, boyfriend, kids all come here - and all of us have really liked the transition. Office staff and hygienists are all warm and patient. We love coming to see Dr Yang!
