“This was one of the best dental experiences I’ve had! I was really worried going in because I’d had a great dentist and practice for the last six years that I felt I was giving up in my move to a new state. But the bedside manner was so friendly from not only him but the hygienist and front desk staff as well. Everyone was also very knowledgeable and willing to answer any and all questions I had. The little details, like fun overhead light covers to put you at ease (I had dolphins in my room), and state of the art technology, like the use of an air polisher at the end of my cleaning, really stood out to me too. I didn’t know going in, but they also do Invisalign in office. So I can continue that treatment without seeking out a separate orthodontist!”

About Dr. John Gehlbach
Dr. John Gehlbach is an experience dentist with training in restorative dentistry, endodontics, extractions, and sleep apnea dentistry. He makes sure to focus on the attention to detail, calming energy, and embrace modern technology and techniques to provide for his patients. He is a compassionate provider with experience in treating a diverse patient population from a variety of backgrounds. He prioritizes to create a welcome environment for all his patients and treat each patient by guiding them through each course of treatment.
He achieved his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut- School of Dental Medicine in 2021. Some of his notable achievements include being part of the UPenn Dean’s List, SUMR Research Scholar of the LDI Institute at the Wharton School, and UConn Dental Student Research Award. He has volunteer experience like being a participant of the Statewide Connecticut Mission of Mercy and the Dental Service Trip in Puerto Rico. He is an active member of the American Dental Association.
In his free time, he enjoys cooking, playing the alto saxophone, and loves reading a recommended book.

The site for this dentist said he accepted Aetna, but did not specify which plan. So it turned out his office did no accept my specific Aetna plan, which was clarified by the office when I called to confirm
Hence, the appointment was canceled prior to the scheduled date.
