About Dr. John Vuong
Born and raised in Gaithersburg, MD, Dr. John Vuong dreamed of becoming a dentist from a very young age. He attended the University of Maryland, College Park, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. After graduation, Dr. Vuong moved to Philadelphia, PA, and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2020.
During his final year of dental school, Dr. Vuong participated in a mission trip to the Dominican Republic to provide dental care to those without easy access. He was also selected as one of five students in his class to represent Temple University in a clinical skills and knowledge competition with 16 other dental schools at the ?Guang Hua Cup? Clinical Skills Exhibition Activities for Stomatology Students at Sun Yat-Sen University in Guangzhou, China.
After graduating, Dr. Vuong returned to Maryland to practice dentistry. He is passionate about delivering high-quality preventive and restorative dental care while empowering patients through education. Dr. Vuong strives to make sure his patients feel as comfortable as possible in the dental chair.
In his free time, Dr. Vuong enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, playing video games, and watching movies and TV shows.

This is my first visit to this new place with new dentist, as my dentist after helping me more than a decade was retired.
To start, I filled forms to promise taking all responsibilities. But dentist told me that I cannot make any choice for my dental cleaning only procedure. I left clinic without any service, took my signed forms back, and will never back to this place again.

The office called to confirm Insurance information prior to my appointment and I could tell right away. Upon arriving for my appointment, I was checked in right away and was quickly whisked away to the back by the dental hygienist, Christine. She was very friendly and did a great job explaining the procedures and got the job done quickly and effectively! Dr. Vuong was also very friendly, but was in and out pretty quickly when he saw that I didn't have anything to worry about or address.
