Education & Advanced Training Dr. Caracappa gained his doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania. Following graduation, he pursued a General Practice Residency at Hackensack Meridian Medical Center, a Level One Trauma hospital. His research was presented at the 2023 Penn Dental Research Day, reflecting his dedication to advancing dentistry through science and innovation. Service Beyond Borders In 2018, Dr. Caracappa joined a humanitarian mission trip to Panama, where he helped provide dental and medical care to more than 800 children and adults in underserved villages. Preparing for this mission, he secured donations of supplies and embraced the challenge of practicing dentistry in a resource-limited setting. This experience deepened his commitment to serving others and broadened his perspective on the importance of compassionate care.
