About Dr. Jonathan Okon
Our comfortable, state of the art office has the latest technology, including lasers and 3-D imaging. While all of these tools are helpful, it is our dedication to treating every patient as we ourselves would want to be treated that sets Madison Dental apart. Dr. Okon graduated from one of the top dental schools and residencies in the country. He has over 12 years of experience in both academic and private settings. In addition to providing the highest level of general dental care, Madison Dental has on site endodontic and periodontal specialists.

10/10 experience at Madison dental. I have nothing but positive things to report in regards to my appointment at Madison Dental. I scheduled online and the staff reached out to me the same day to confirm and even offer to move me up to an earlier date. The staff at checkin were incredibly welcoming and kind. The wait was very brief and I was shown back to a room within 15 minutes (most of that 15 minutes was just me filling out my paperwork). I was seen by Dr. Okon who was incredibly friendly, understanding, and helpful. He answered all of my questions, took time to work through the issues I was dealing with, and helped me set up a clear and actionable plan to move forward with. at no point in my visit did I feel rushed nor did I feel my issues were dismissed. I regretfully forget Dr. Okon’s assistant’s name, but she too was incredibly lovely. From start to finish I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Okon and the staff at Madison dental and I will be returning!

Never again! I have been visiting this dental office for the past 3 years, and the quality of the dental services has been largely decreased.
The appointment's wait time was extremely long, I was scheduled at 12:45pm, and I arrived on time but was told by front desk to wait. I waited until 1:15pm and then another girl came to me asked who I am, and told me to wait for another 15 mins since they are preparing the room. I was finally seated in the prepared room and ready for the treatment. The doctor doesn't show up until 1:40pm and started to look at my history, but then ran to another room without telling me what's going on. I didn't start my treatment until 1:50, but the doctor ran back and forth to another room which put me on wait for more than 5 times. I wasn't informed on any of the situations, and what was the plan for today's treatment.
I only have one filling done, but it took more than 3 hours since they mess up the schedule. No one told me that there was a conflict between the appointments, I felt stupid wasting my time in the office for 3 hours.

I moved a lot, so I have had several dentists to compare. This was the best experience of any medical appointment. Dentist and staff clearly care. Thorough and painless. Nice, clean, modern office. highly recommend.

Great experience at Madison Dental with Dr. Okon. I felt like Dr. Okon and everyone in the office really cared about me and my teeth. Best cleaning I have ever had - my mouth actually feels cleaner than it ever has before. Booking the appointment was very easy - and they had Sunday appointments, which was great for me. The office is very clean, comfortable and modern. Dr. Okon took the time to answer all my questions and was meticulous in his work. Overall, best experience I have had at a dentist - I would recommend without reservation.

My appointment was at 4:00 pm for one teeth filling. I came to the office 20min early for the first time visit. After checking in, I was getting in the office for setting up at 4:30. The next 20min I just watch tv waiting for the someone come. 4:50, the assistant come over to ask me a few question and have an one teeth x-ray. I offfically saw the doc at 5:00 pm. However, after just saying hi, I was asked to change a room. Then the doctor left. Now it is 5:11, still not doing nothing. I want to say MY GOD, if the doctor can not show up on time, why open the schedule time!!!

My first visit for a cleaning was very satisfying, with all the explanations Dr Okon gave me in spite of the late appointment time (7:30pm). This included my general tooth condition, the necessity of a root canal, other potential cavities, as well as clear braces for adults, which I've been considering for a long time.
I was very much shown why he is so popular and one of the real 5-star dentists for sure. He is easy-going, but very professional. He is someone whom you can ask frank questions about all dental procedures and their price.

I had a dental emergency where I shattered 2 veneers. I met Dr. Okon at a health fair several months ago as I was looking for a new dentist. I was impressed with what he said at that time. When I scheduled an late day appointment he called back and got me in his office right away. I am an anxious dental patient. His staff is wonderful and very caring. The entire professional team was efficient and took care of my problem in the highest delivery of dental care. I even had my teeth cleaned and the RDH was exemplary. I will be returning shortly to the office for installation of the permanent veneers. Dr. Okon will be my dentist going forward. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my visits.

Also the waiting has some awesome TV selections; however the waiting time was not long enough to take advantage of these benefits.

Overall great experience. I booked this appointment last minute. I waited virtually no time at all the whole time which is greatly appreciated. Susan was so sweet and thorough while cleaning my teeth and continuously asking me if I was okay, and that I was comfortable. She also took time to explain to me each thing she was doing.
The dentist was also great.

Dr.Okon's personality was pretty dry, which could be misinterpreted as poor bedside manner. I was however very happy with him in that regard. At one point he even asked me if I was in a rush, so that he could take time to explain different diseases impacting the mouth and how to prevent them, etc, etc. He also performed the cleaning himself which probably won't be the case every time, but was nice for the first visit. I definitely recommend him. Beautiful/Tech savvy office.
