About Dr. Jonathan Peri

Dr. Jonathan Peri DDS, MD - Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Dr. Peri grew up in Los Angeles. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the prestigious University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. Dr. Peri then continued his studies and obtained his Medical Degree (MD) at Stony Brook University School of Medicine where he further expanded his surgical and medical training. His 6-year surgical residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery was accomplished at Stony Brook University and Northwell-Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he also completed a 1-year General Surgery internship. Dr. Peri has taken his distinguished academic background and love for taking care of patients into private practice. His charismatic personality and rigorous work ethic have allowed him to work on both the east and west coasts. Dr. Peri continues to use the most current and minimally invasive surgical techniques when it comes to patient care. Dr Peri was so professional and made the entire process seamless, I could not reccomended him more! He handled my wisdom teeth removal procedure with excellent bedside manner as well as expertise.
I was in need of an emergency extraction because of an ongoing infection my regular dentist failed to identify in a failed root canal/crown. On top of that I was getting ready to travel abroad for a month. I called Dr. Peri and S&C Dental and he was able to see me immediately. He saw the infection in the imaging and was able to effortlessly and painlessly extract the infected crown that had been causing me so much pain. On top of that, Dr. Peri was able to also place the implant, saving 4 months in the whole process!

This was the first time I had a dentist/oral surgeon listen to the issues I was experiencing. After three years of pandemic-induced grinding and clenching, Dr. Peri was able to restore 4 cracked and broken teeth immediately when three other dentists were unable to identify the fractures in the x-rays and CT scans. Dr. Peri went through a detailed plan of action and the procedures were quick, minimal discomfort, a fast healing. He even called to check in the following day. If you're looking for a professional, skilled, and caring oral surgeon, I definitely recommend S&C Dental and Dr. Peri. They also have a cute comfort dog if you need one.

?Got my wisdom teeth removed with Dr. Peri He was absolutely amazing. I was put to sleep with IV-Sedation I literally remember sitting down in the chair and waking up. I didn't swell or have any pain that I couldn't handle. the staff was great following up with me to make sure I got my medication and even called me the next day to see how I was healing.
