Dr. Alamo earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2006 at Boston University’s School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He entered post-doctoral residency at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York and New York/Presbyterian Hospital completing a two-year General Practice Residency in 2008, with focused training on implants, oral surgery, and sedation. After the two-year oral surgery focused residency, Dr. Alamo worked at a community health center for four years, performing thousands of extractions for underserved patients in the community. In 2012, Dr. Alamo went into private practice in Kyle, Texas until he moved to Washington DC in 2022 and has been practicing in Maryland ever since. Dr. Alamo is a general dentist that has always had a deep interest in oral surgery procedures ever since completing dental school in 2006 and has focused his career and training on learning the best techniques for surgery. His extensive training, experience, and knowledge gives him the confidence to assist patients with complicated extractions, including impacted wisdom teeth, and dental implants.
