Born in Chillanes, Ecuador, Dr. Garcia decided to become a dentist due to his genuine desire to help those in underserved communities which shaped his upbringing. With his education and experience, he gets to treat, maintain, and improve children’s pearly whites, allowing them to enjoy all the benefits of having a healthy and beautiful smile they can be proud of. Where Did You Study Dentistry? Dr. Garcia started his career in the dental field as a dental hygienist. He worked for several years in this position before deciding to advance to becoming a dentist. He then went on to study at the Howard University College of Dentistry to earn his dental doctorate. Today, he’s a proud and active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and regularly seeks continuing education to refine his skills and expertise. Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do? When he isn’t at the office helping our little heroes with their smiles, Dr. Garcia likes to spend time with his black cat or visit places beyond the typical tourist destinations. He also enjoys riding his bicycle around Washington, DC, listening to live music, going to concerts, and watching the Baltimore Ravens play
