About Dr. Jose Mariano Castro

From simple teeth whitening to complete smile makeovers, clear aligners, and orthodontics, we have uniquely focused our practice on the aesthetic solutions our patients deserve. Dr. Castro’s extensive training, combined with our team of professionals, makes our office the premier location for dentistry in Upland.
Dr. Castro earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of San Carlos and holds a Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics from the London Dental Institute (equivalent to a U.S. master’s degree). He specializes in clear aligners and early interception treatment for children ages 7 to 12, teens, and adults.
Committed to excellence, Dr. Castro stays current with the latest technology by completing many hours of continuing education courses to ensure his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care available.
With an artistic eye for cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Castro believes that every treatment at Smileneeds Dental should result in a natural, beautiful outcome. Our goal is to deliver end results that are as natural and attractive as possible.

Customer service oriented and very professional. Hygenist Ana ensured I was comfortable and not in pain when she was deep cleaning my teeth. Dr. Castro and his staff give you the same treatment. I've been coming since I was 20, I'm 38 now. I highly recommend Dr. Castro.
