About Dr. Joseph Alwan

I was born in Lebanon and moved to America in 1993. I started working in the dental field in 1996 as a certified dental technician.. In 2008, I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. I then served as a dental officer in the US Army for 8 years, during which time I earned numerous certificates in dental education as well as commendations for superb performance. I continue to serve my country in the Army Reserves. In 2016, I settled in Virginia with my wife and two children. I’m committed to making every dental visit a positive and comfortable experience. Whether you’re here for a routine cleaning or a complete smile makeover, I’m honored to care for you and help bring back or maintain your best smile!
