About Dr. Joseph Cho

Dr. Joseph Cho was born and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey. Dr. Cho went on to earn his dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as president of the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Society. After dental school, Dr. Cho completed a six-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Emory University. During this time he earned his Medical Doctorate degree at Emory University School of Medicine, completed a year of General Surgery Internship, and served as Chief Resident in his final year of his residency. He underwent extensive training in dentoalveolar surgery, general anesthesia, orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial trauma, and reconstructive surgery for benign head and neck pathology. Dr. Cho is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). He is committed to continuing education and is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), Georgia Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (GA-OMS), and the American Dental Association (ADA).
