About Dr. Joseph Desio
Dr. Desio believes that the key to a lifetime of good dental health is effective preventive care combined with cutting-edge technology and a dose of traditional concern for his patients' well-being.
He is a 1988 graduate of Georgetown University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He has also completed additional coursework focusing on preventive, cosmetic, and implant dentistry, as well as Invisalign invisible braces.
Dr. Desio is committed to continual learning and constant improvement. As he states, “I believe that every day on every patient, there is something to be learned, whether clinical, behavioral, or personal. Over time, this approach allows us to use the most appropriate combination of our knowledge, skills, and experience to provide each patient with optimum care.”
He has a daughter who works in New York and a son in college.
In his free time, Dr. Desio enjoys tennis, travel, and gourmet cooking.
His volunteer work includes Children of Chernobyl, Northern Virginia Dental Clinic, Mission of Mercy, Ukrainian immigrant ministry, and the Wounded Warrior Project.
