About Dr. Joseph Ferro

I was born, raised, educated and have lived my entire life in San Antonio, Texas. I am a product of Catholic education having graduated from St. Mary Magdalen grade school, Central Catholic High School and St. Mary’s University before attending dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where I graduated in 1982. Immediately upon graduation I went into private practice and have been on Donaldson Ave. my whole career. During my 30+ years in practice, I have taken countless hours of continuing education to stay abreast of the latest techniques and trends in dentistry. This has allowed my team and I to provide the highest quality of care while at the same time making our patients feel comfortable and at ease in a warm and friendly environment. I have been married to my beautiful wife Lucinda for 17 years and we have three wonderful children(all grown)- Lauren, Renee, and Alec. We also have three awesome grandchildren and 2 beloved dachshunds! In our spare time, we love to travel, golf, spend time with family and friends, and just enjoy each other’s company. I have been blessed to practice in the same neighborhood/community where I grew up. Our patients are our extended family and we appreciate the support they have shown us over the years.
