About Dr. Joseph Nam
Dr. Joseph Nam is a pediatric dentist serving children in New York City. He earned his DMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, one of the nation's top dental programs, and completed his General Practice Residency at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, followed by his Pediatric Dental Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital.
Dr. Nam is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe and comfortable. As a father of three young children himself, he understands firsthand the importance of building positive early dental experiences that last a lifetime.
When he's not caring for his patients, Dr. Nam enjoys running and swimming through the streets and parks of Manhattan, where he lives with his family.

Dr Nam is our son’s dentist and we all love him. He is very friendly, does everything he can to make his patients comfortable and takes the time to explain everything in detail. We highly recommend him!

Dr Nam is very, very gentle and kind with his child patients. My kid is not afraid of the dentist thanks to him. His supporting staff is kind ad fun too.

Dr Nam is amazing! He was incredibly gentle and considerate, and took time to explain each step. At the end he had me hold up a mirror and pointed out what he was seeing. He advised me on how to better take care of my teeth and areas to focus on in a very specific and actionable manner. Truly provided a valuable service (in less than an hour!). In a world of doctors who are rushed and don’t explain anything, this is a rare experience. Thank you Dr Nam ??

Dr Joseph is great with my son! Knows how to talk to children and ensure they are comfortable. Makes great recommendations on future dental health. For context, we live 2 hours away from the city and come in just for him!
