As an internationally trained dentist with over a decade of experience, my journey in dentistry has been shaped by a deep commitment to excellence, lifelong learning, and a passion for people. I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and have continued to refine my craft through world-class training in implant, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. Even before Malama Dental came to life, the name had already found me. Six years ago, while visiting Hawai‘i, I came across the word “Malama”—meaning “to care for, protect, and preserve.” I knew then that if I ever built my own practice, it would be rooted in those values. Today, that vision has become a reality. My professional development has been shaped by learning from some of the best in the world. I’ve had the privilege of training under renowned clinicians including Dr. Christian Coachman. I also completed the NYU Implant Continuum, gaining advanced surgical skills in implant placement and restoration. As of now I have completed over 300 hours of CE education relating to dentistry. My approach blends precision with compassion, modern techniques with timeless values, and global experience with a local touch. At Malama Dental, my mission is to deliver care that is deeply personal, beautifully designed, and grounded in trust.
