She is pleased to return to her hometown to practice oral surgery. Dr. Choi attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHSC at Houston) for her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS), graduating in 2016. She was fortunate to be able to continue her dental education at the UTHSC, earning her Doctor in Medicine (MD) degree and completing six years of rigorous training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the largest medical center in the world, where she was trained to perform the most advanced oral and reconstructive surgical procedures. Dr. Choi is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, and her practice interests include dentoalveolar surgery, dental implant surgery, and maxillofacial trauma. In her free time, Dr. Choi enjoys playing various instruments including violin, piano, and guitar. She also loves to exercise, regularly taking spin and barre classes. Dr. Choi is fluent in both English and Korean. She is happy to be back in her hometown and honored to have the privilege to treat patients in the community.
