Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Dr. Scott believes it is his calling to help people keep their teeth for a lifetime. After earning his degree in Biomedical Science at the University of South Alabama, he went on to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Dr. Scott's heart belongs to helping people, and he spent significant time doing mission work in Belize while still in dental school.
After graduating, he moved here and practiced dentistry for five years before deciding to make the city of Atlanta, Georgia his home.
Dr. Scott enjoys traveling, language learning, working out, and playing the drums.

I will never go back EVER. My time was wasted as I spent 70 on a uber to and from for them to tell me I had no appointment. I was told zocdoc is a hit or miss so sometimes they get the appointments and sometimes they don't but why continuing using something that's a miss and a inconvenience for clients. Unpaid time off work and mo ey spent I will never get back. #needentistme I live too far for a hit or miss.

I had an emergency involving a crab claw and my back molars ?? I made a appointment and was contacted that morning to make accommodations because what I booked and what actually needed to be done were two different things. The staff at Dr. Scott's office is so wonderful. This was my first visit with them, haven't been to the dentist in years I am ashamed to say lol, and they were just so pleasant and helpful. I was nervous to go because of how long it had been since my last visit, but they were very gracious and kind. Christina, the office manager, Ashley (I believe and hope is her name - she was on her 5th day in the office and had incredible bedside manner), Denise, the hygienist, and Dr. Scott were all SO great! I live 50 minutes away from the office and will have NO PROBLEM driving to them however often I need to go. Simply helpful and wonderful.

Everyone was super friendly and the dental hygienist was very thorough with my cleaning. I was very happy! The dentist that took care of me was also very nice and very informative. He also helped me out quickly with a small issue I had from a previous dentist. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a local, honest dentist after moving from California. I was very disappointed with the visit, as I was instructed to get work done that I do not believe is necessary. The cost of those recommendations was astronomical and I will not return to this provider. I will seek another dentist in the area through referrals.

Walking through the door the staff were great.They were on their job.Very friend and very formative and very considerate.The dentist was excellent and very detailed.Very nice all the way around!!

Waited 2 hours for a basic cleaning. The assistant xrayed my mouth and the computer shut down on him and we had to redo all the xrays (radiation) over again. I voiced my concern about the unnecessary radiation exposure. The second assistant said something like “how do you think I feel. I’m exposed to it everyday.” Also, I specifically stated that I wanted Kör teeth whitening performed on my appointment notes. It was only when I got there I was told they don’t provide that. That’s partially my fault but atleast tell me straight forward that you dont offer the service prior to me arriving. Especially since I made the appointment a week prior and specifically stated what I wanted. Overall, it was a nightmare. The only slight saving grace was that they gave me all my money back.

I had a consultation for an implant and it took over 2 hours before I finally got up and left on my own. No one apologized for the wait or anything. I was ready to pay cash for the CT scan and get the ball rolling but the wait was unacceptable. They waisted no time charging my card for the CT though. Luckily I was able to get that reversed.

It seed really rushed. I drove over 40 minutes for my appointment. Was told I’d get my root canal done when I made appointment. Get there they told me I can’t. I am in excruciating pain and that was the reason I made the appointment and made that very clear when I made the appointment and they told me I would be able to get it done this is the second time I was supposed to get my root canal done and it hasn’t happened to make another appointment which really pissed me off because I’m in pain and the amount of time I have to take away from work and drive to this appointment

I hadnt been to the dentist in ages and needed a ton of work done (root canal, crowns, fillings, cleaning) Dr. Scott and Dr. Lydia were outstanding from start to finish, their staff made sure I was comfortable at all times. The overall atmosphere was upbeat & relaxing. The doctors & staff are very personable & outgoing which eases any tension and makes the entire experience, believe it or not, enjoyable! I will definitely be recommending them to friends & family.
