“Kavi Shah, DMD was awesome. He comunicated everything he saw on scans in an easy to understand but thorough manner, walked you through what he would do, how to go about certain things, and always gave the price of a procedure before doing it. There was no pressure or rush to get a service done, the option was always up to me. My visit did take almost 5 hours from when I entered the building until when I left, but I had several procedures done. The parking in the back is also a plus but it is TIGHT so definitely be careful! His wife (wonderful lady!!) is also a dentist and helped clean my teeth and such. Overall, everybody in the office was patient, polite, friendly, and very competent. Would definitely go back!”

About Dr. Kavi Shah
Dr. Kavi Shah is an Implant dentist who received his initial training at the College of Dental Medicine of Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He then undertook a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Nova Southeastern University in Miami, Florida where he also worked with patients with physical and mental handicaps in a Special Needs clinic. He has been trained in nitrous oxide and oral sedation dentistry and enjoys working with the dentally anxious patient.
“The dental chair is not a fun place for most people, and everything I do is designed to make patients as comfortable as possible. I focused my residency on sedation, implant surgery & implant restorations, along with complex esthetic prosthodontics so that I could live up to this vision."
In addition, Dr. Kavi has completed numerous additional residencies in Implantology and Oral Surgery. This involves being a leader at numerous literature review groups and study clubs. By taking an active role in the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Dr. Shah stays involved in today’s proven improvements to bring to his patient care.
Taking a conservative approach, he prides himself on making sure you receive only the treatment that you need and believes in treating each patient like a member of his family.
Please keep in mind that for most adult new patients, our appointments are not usually very quick. We do take our time, and try to review all aspects of a patient's oral health and do a thorough patient exam before proceeding with any treatment.

Dr. Shah and his entire team were amazing from beginning to end. At 45 years old, this is the first time that I received a thorough explanation of what I was dealing with and given a sensible plan of action to correct my dental issues. Dr. Shah was not pushy like other dentist to get my money. He truly made my experience outstanding. I've only been there once and will be going back for a deep cleaning in a day. In addition, the visit was so great that I already recommended someone else to try them out. I'm sure that I've finally found MY dentist!

There's parking behind the building so that's a plus.. Arrived early, wait to be called in was about 20 mins but once they were done taking my X-rays I just sat and waited. So for a simple cleaning I was there for an hour 45min which was a bummer. Also the dentists and techs were nice which is always great but very sales oriented. I felt like the dentists were talking much more than I would've liked regarding Invisalign when I wasn't showing much interest and was in a hurry to leave. Overall an ok office but could be run more efficiently so as not to have what should've been a much shorter appointment into almost two hours.

Glen Oaks Dental Rocks!!! Hands - down, the friendliest and most accomodating office staff I have ever encountered, and I've experienced some good ones! Add to the atmosphere a patient dentist, a gentle oral hygienist. Just a fantastic environment.

By far the friendliest staff and Doctor I've come across. He answered each of my questions and concerns thoroughly and was able to meet all of my needs. Atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming as well. So happy I found this practice! The service was 10 throughout.

Today I had my wisdom teeth extracted. As soon as I came in I was greeted like family. Dr. Kavi was so friendly and gentle. I didn't feel any pain. He was able to pull each tooth as fast as a Snapchat video. He's awesome. Definitely recommed!
