“From walking in to the very end, Dr. Ishibashi and her staff were amazing. Sometimes dentists can really focus on issues to push to you do additional services, but Dr. Ishibashi cared more about doing a detailed clean, pointing out what you're doing right, and offering tips to help keep your teeth looking good.
She did an amazing job with my cleaning and her staff took their time to answer questions in detail. I usually walk out of my cleanings thinking I need to 'fix' something, but I left feeling great and excited to be back in 6 months! ”

Dr. Ishibashi’s mission is to form the best treatments for each patient’s individual needs and help them keep their good oral health for a long, long time. She graduated from New York University of College of Dentistry and has completed Advanced Education in General Dentistry in Lutheran Hospital. She is also certified in Invisalign.

I cannot write enough great reviews for Dr. Ishibashi and her staff. Everyone at her office is so delightful, friendly, and fantastic at their job. From the moment you walk in the door and are greeted by the wonderful front desk staff to Dr. Ishibashi's excellent/thorough cleaning and fun conversation, you are in great hands.
I always leave feeling more cheerful than when I arrived (which is unheard of for a dentist appointment!) and with better teeth!
I haven't had any big dental issues (knock on wood), but if I did I would trust Dr. Ishibashi's attention, care, and skill. 100% recommend!

I normally have extreme anxiety about going to the dentist and I have to say this visit was the BEST experience I've ever had. The staff is super friendly and they focus a lot on making sure you're as comfortable as possible. I was seen very quickly and was able to get a substantial amount of work done on my first visit. Dr. Ishibashi is very gentle and explains everything thoroughly. I made the right choice!

I love coming in to see Dr. Ishibashi and her team! They are such a warm and caring group, and I cannot emphasize enough how much this sets these guys apart from other dental offices in jaded and cynical Manhattan.
Dr. Ishibashi has a very honest and sincere manner, and I trust her completely to do what's best for me and my teeth. She doesn't recommend unnecessary or overly expensive treatments, doesn't upsell, and at the end of the day doesn't leave me feeling like a human piggy bank the way previous dentists I've had have. (if you can't tell, I've developed some trust issues with dentists over the years!)
Dr. Ishibashi is also kind and funny, and she and her team are very pleasant to be around. Come see her if you want great treatment and peace of mind!!

She was nice and good at lease 1 year ago. I trusted her and I started my invisalign. Actually I could not satisfied. My teeth line is not straight as I expected. I don't know the reason is her technique or my teeth itself. But worst thing is after my terms were over and I took my impression and the doctor said she gave me call when the retainer was made. I had waited for over month and I sent an email to reminder. And she said I can come soon. And I came to her. I believe the retainer is made from invisalign company but not. It looks handmade (it's expencive) and it's not fit my teeth first. Her assistant cut edge and it's so rough. I'm so disappointed and the retainer was broken about in 3month. She doesn't give me another retainer. My teeth might move back soon. She ruins my money and time.

The whole time she was cleaning my teeth, Kayako chatted with her assistant over my face describing her household issues and holiday plans, and burst into laughter quite often while holding sharp tools in my opened mouth. I found her conduct unprofessional.

Dr. Ishibashi was very nice (as was her staff). They clearly went over my insurance and what I would be responsible for. The doctor did my cleaning herself- it was very quick and I did not feel like my teeth were clean when I left.
Also, she put me into a panic relating to a bridge that I have. She said I had a huge infection that needed to be addressed immediately and that the whole thing needed to be replaced. She tried to rush me into setting up my next appointment to get started. I received a second opinion and it was determined that although I did need a root canal, it would be completed by an endodontist and that the bridge likely has a few more years left.

Probably my favorite dental cleaning of experience so far. Dr. Ishibashi and her assistant are both very courteous and professional. Will definitely recommend to all my family and friends in the area!

Kayako Ishibashi is a fantastic dentist! I was seen immediately and she and her staff are all very friendly and kind. I'm always wary of dentists in NYC, but Dr. Ishibashi is the real deal! She didn't detect any "fake" cavities or try to sell me on any unnecessary procedures. I got an efficient yet thorough cleaning and exam. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Ishibashi has excellent bedside manner and makes you feel at ease in her chair. Her staff is kind and very prompt - I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes (including arrival/check-in/getting in the chair) before having my teeth cleaned. Highly recommend!

I loved the fact that even though Dr. Ishibashi did not take my insurance, she took me into her office to address my concerns. Upon leaving the receptionist looked up periodontics who took my insurance and could assist my needs without paying out of pocket for services.
