About Dr. Keith Heller
Keith J. Heller, DDS graduated from the University of Michigan. He pursued his education in dental medicine at New York University College of Dentistry where he graduated with honors. At New York University he was a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Heller completed his general practice residency at New York Methodist hospital and was accepted to be a Chief Resident where he completed advanced prosthodontics cases and became proficient in implant dentistry. Today, Dr. Heller is on staff as an Attending Physician at New York Methodist hospital where he practices general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry.
In his free time, Dr. Heller likes to try new restaurants, play golf, attend sporting events, and stay physically fit. He keeps current on new developments in dentistry by attending conferences, reading journals, and by attending monthly study clubs. He is currently a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the Second District Dental Society.

I contracted a cold + bronchitis within 24 hours of my appointment here. Most likely from equipment that was not sanitized properly.
Also, they gave me a fluoride cleaning without letting me know that it would be an additional charge.

They cancelled my appointment and didnt inform until I arrived for my appointment. The front desk said that they didnt have my information to contact me in advance, yet I received frequent texts and email reminders about my appointment until the day of my appointment and 20 minutes before I arrived. They didnt reflect their cancellation in the system and now I'm getting constant messages (text and email) that I "missed" my appointment and need to reschedule.

The dentist was extremely condescending and dismissive. He went over the work that needed to be done on my teeth and completely disregarded the issue I actually came in for, even though I communicated it to the receptionist and the hygienist. I had to follow up and remind him to address it or he would have just ended the appointment. I had press again that I was in pain and urged him to take another look until he acted.
I got the sense I wasn’t worth his time.
They also charged me a substantial amount for “oral hygiene instructions” without disclosing that it would be extra. I thought it was part of the cleaning. The hygienist spent two minutes showing me how to brush my teeth. What a rip off. I will not be returning.

Great scheduling and communication tools. I was reached by text, email and phone...and the waiting room was nice and the exam rooms were also very nice, but that's pretty much all I can say about the experience. The cleaning wasnt great. I could still feel some "grime" on my teeth afterward. Dr. Heller was ok, but ultimately he seemed to not want to do anything to my teeth until after I scheduled an ortho appt. Maybe it's just the nature of my teeth but after the cleaning it kind of felt like we were just talking in circles to each other. The billing person seemed cold and made me feel like I was a poor person that couldn't afford the proposed services. It was a weird experience all the way around.

Very rushed appointment. Front desk staff was not welcoming or friendly. Hygienist was very aggressive while cleaning my teeth and the whole cleaning felt rushed. Dentist was friendly and somewhat helpful. Would not recommend or go back.

The office was super clean and the front desk staff is extremely helpful and nice. My dental Hygienist, Alexis (I hope that was her name)was amazing and I will be back for her. Overall the experience was great!

For the pain in my left premolar, it was recommended that I removed all four wisdom teeth, then two, then one. The day I returned, I asked for second option, and heard instead that it was a cracked tooth that needed to be removed. Got a third opinion, from another dentist, who did some deep cleaning which put a stop to the pain almost immediately.
