“I can't say enough good things about Playa Family Dentistry. I've been afraid of going to the dentist since I was 12 years old, when my impacted 12-year molars had to be removed. Since then, I've experienced just about everything dental-related, including root canals, crowns, extractions, implants, and numerous procedures with various providers, which only reinforced my anxiety. But from the moment I walked into Playa Family Dentistry, I felt truly cared for. My hygienist, Diana, was so compassionate, patient, and really understood my fears. She took time to listen to all my concerns, which is RARE for a dental office. Dr. Simon was warm and knowledgeable and helped me feel calm. He explained everything clearly, and I felt sure I was in good hands. The whole staff I met with was welcoming, professional, and kind during my visit. I was also impressed by the modern technology/equipment they use. After years of dreading dental appointments, my experience here was a real turning point. ”

A graduate of Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine (along with a GPR residency at Montefiore Hospital in NY), Dr. Simon combines advanced dental training with a gentle, down-to-earth approach that puts even the most nervous patients at ease. Whether it’s a child’s first check-up or a complex restorative treatment for an adult, Dr. Simon takes the time to listen, explain, and create a personalized plan that meets each patient’s needs — both medically and emotionally.
Dr. Simon proudly serves the Tampa Bay community, with a special focus on delivering affordable, high-quality care in a welcoming, stress-free environment. His goal is simple: to make sure every smile he sees leaves healthier and happier.

I had a great experience at Playa Family Dentistry. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I honestly don't like the dentist but Dr. Simon made me feel very comfortable and helped me not to be nervous or scared. I highly recommend them to everyone looking for a great dentist.
