About Dr. Kelly Leftwich

Dr. Leftwich graduated from Virginia Commonwealth School of Dentistry in 2012 with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. While in dental school, she was awarded a Health Professions Scholarship by the United States Navy. Upon graduation, she was commissioned as a Dental Officer and was accepted into the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program through the Norfolk Naval Postgraduate Dental School. After she completed residency training, Dr. Leftwich then served 4 years as a General Dentist with the 3d Dental Battalion in Okinawa, Japan, where she proudly provided dental care to military members and their families. After her military service, she practiced family dentistry in Northern California and earned the distinction of Fellow with the Academy of General Dentistry. She strives to build solid and trusting relationships with her patients by listening to their goals, assessing their needs, and providing the best possible comprehensive dental care. Dr. Leftwich recently moved to Colorado Springs, where her husband is stationed at the Air Force Academy as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. In her free time, she loves going on adventures with her husband and four young children.
