About Dr. Kenneth Sloane

I have been practicing dentistry since 1982. The past 32 years have flown by! I was inspired to become a dentist because of my own dental experiences as a child. Unfortunately, my first dentist didn't leave a great impression-having cavities filled without anesthetic is no fun! My second dentist showed me what caring, patient-focused dentistry was like: a comfortable experience without pain. He greatly influenced my desire to become a dentist, as I realized it was a rewarding profession. I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University, which gave me a strong foundation to deliver quality care. Restoring smiles is the most professionally satisfying aspect of being a dentist. I can transform a patient's smile in just a few visits using porcelain veneers and crowns. It is gratifying to hear patients say they can smile for pictures again! For some, it is truly life-changing. I enjoy going to the office each day, as each day is unique. My patients trust me with their oral health, and I strive to do the best dentistry each time. I take pride in being caring and gentle, knowing how vulnerable we feel in the dental chair. There is nothing more rewarding than having an apprehensive patient tell me a procedure was painless. I remain committed to continuing education as dentistry constantly evolves. Attending seminars and learning new modalities helps me bring improved treatments to my patients. I have incorporated technology like digital X-rays, which reduce radiation exposure and eliminate the need for harmful chemicals.
