About Dr. Kenny Thaher
For more than 10 years, Dr. Kenny Thaher has served as a caring general, restorative, and cosmetic dentist for families and professionals throughout his career. He graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, NJ. He began his General Practice Residency Program in Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where he received extensive training and became recognized for his painless injection techniques, exceptional ability in dental implants, Invisalign, braces, root canals, and cosmetic dentistry.
He believes in listening to each patient and creating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong health. During his consultations, he explains patients’ conditions and helps them choose an appropriate treatment plan. From Dr. Thaher: “My mission is to provide my patients with the highest level of care. Utilizing the latest technology and current scientific research, I aim to prevent disease, preserve function, and meet the aesthetic needs of my patients. At the end of the day, I want every patient to be healthy and happy with their smile".

I switched to Smiles of North Dallas when I had a filling fall out. I knew it was time to get a cleaning and went ahead and booked an appointment for the first available spot. I was so impressed with the professionalism of Dr. Thaher and his staff. The hygienist was very thorough with both the X-rays and the cleaning. Then when Dr. T. came to check, he gave me a thorough explanation of teeth that I might have an issue with in the future. When I said I was worried about a genetic predisposition to bad dental health, he pulled up extra images to show me I had nothing to worry about.
After getting my new filling, I was warned not to eat while my mouth was numb. When I admitted I hadn't eaten lunch and would probably need to pick up a smoothie, Dr. Thaher offered me a protein drink from his fridge!
The staff at Smiles of North Dallas went above and beyond for me and I am thrilled to have a new dentist ??

I had a tooth extracted & I was surprised that Dr Thaher had it out in less then a minute! Super thorough & Excellent at what he does!!
The staff.... Tammy & the dental hygienists Arlene & Jordan are always super nice & great at what they do!!

Dr. Thaher and his staff are the best! From the minute you walk in the door you are treated with kindness. Tammy, always welcomes you with a big smile. Jordan, the dental hygienist, is always pleasant, always gentle, and encouraging. Arlene, Dr Thaher’s assistant, is always upbeat, with a smile on her face, and patiently answers all your questions. Dr. Thaher is kind, gentle, and best of all, an amazing dentist. He takes all the fear out of a visit to the dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Thaher and his entire staff.

I had such a lovely dental visit with Dr. Thaher and his amazing staff! Tammy is so friendly up by the front desk and Arlene makes you feel so at ease right when you sit in the chair. Dr. Kenny Thaher is so knowledgeable and helps explain the entire process so you can understand and feel comfortable during the procedure. He even called me later that evening after my procedure to check up on how I was feeling. He also helped remind me of the after care instructions for a speedy and safe recovery.
