I am a Plano native and a proud graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry, Class of 2013. My path into Dental Sleep Medicine was shaped not just by clinical interest, but by a personal experience that changed the way I practice. My grandfather, who snored loudly for years, passed away from Alzheimer’s disease. It wasn’t until later I learned about the strong links between untreated Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), poor sleep, and cognitive decline. He was never diagnosed or treated for sleep apnea— and I didn’t know then what I know now. I carry that with me everyday. I couldn’t show up for him, but I can show up for my patients! Today, I help people sleep better and feel better—without invasive procedures or bulky machines. I work closely with sleep physicians to provide personalized, non- CPAP solutions for snoring and sleep apnea, using custom oral appliance therapy. My approach is evidence based, collaborative, and centered around each patient’s unique needs and goals. Sleep isn’t a luxury-it is a medical necessity. No one should suffer silently from something so treatable.
