Also, they adhered to COVID-19 protective measures and precautions throughout my visit. Most importantly, Dr. Dow actively listened to my concerns and took the time to address all of them. For example, he explained my x-rays in layman's terms, provided evidence for or against a requested procedure, and provided estimates for additional dental procedures without pressuring me one way or another. Every time I recommended a friend to the office I received a handwritten note signed by the full staff thanking me. When I moved out of state and had a dental emergency I reached out to the office to have my records transferred to the new dentist and their response was immediate and the records were sent right away. About Dr. Kevin Dow
Chicago Style Smiles was founded in 1984 with the goal of treating all patients in a relaxed, professional environment with the best dentistry available.
Dr. Dow will take the time to get to know you as a person and treat your needs on an individual basis. He believes in treating you as a whole and with the highest amount of care possible.
Our first visit is like no other! Come experience what we believe to be the best, most comprehensive, professional, and friendly first dental visit in Chicago. We get to know you, your needs, and present them in a way you can understand and be happy with. We take pride in our work and think you will too!
Dr. Dow received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa, Iowa City.
In his free time, Dr. Dow enjoys spending time with his fiancée Kristin and his two dogs, Sydney, an English Bulldog, and Kenzie, a boxer/hound/pit mix. He also enjoys running and watching his favorite sports teams—the Cubs, Bears, Bulls, and Montreal Canadiens. Kevin was born in Ontario, Canada, moved to Iowa as a teen, and has lived in Chicago since 2011.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Dow!!!! He is fantastic. Both he and the dental hygienist, Lynn, took the time to explain to me everything they were doing and the reasonin behind it. They made me feel so educated about my dental health. As someone who has not had great experiences with dentists in the past, I am so happy to have found Dr. Dow. He eased my fears and worries immediately, and made me feel so comfortable. He's very personable too. All of the staff at the office was fantastic! Highly, highly recommend!

Dr. Dow and his staff are just amazing. They made getting my teeth cleaned and checked an easy, informative, and quick experience. Mary Ellen and Shelley at the front desk were extremely pleasant and polite, Diana, the dental assistant was so sweet and comforting, and Dr. Dow had great bedside manner. He explained to me everything he was doing with detail that I appreciated. Seriously, all around a great job! I'll definitely be going to Dr. Dow for all of my future appointments.

Dr. Dow is amazing!! Super positive and uplifting. I normally hate the dentist and dread being berated about my less than stellar habits of only flossing Whenever I Feel Like It (which is not a lot). I left Dr. Dow's w really helpful suggestions about the sensitivity I was feeling and I'm actually feeling inspired to improve my habits! He is really the best dentist I've ever seen.

Dr. Dow is THE MAN. He is the most professional, well spoken, friendly and highly educated Dentist I have ever had. His staff is equally as friendly and professional. The moment I walk in, to the moment I leave, I know my well being is sincerely being looked after. He communicates every single piece of information with you in a very clear way. He also communicates costs up front which is always appreciated. The receptionists are always very thorough at follow up reminders for your next appointment. The dentist is never a fun visit, but since going to Dr Dow, I never have anxiety or an overall feeling of "unwillingness" to going in for my next appointment. Absolutely the best in Chicago.

Easily one of the best dentist in Illinois. I went for an emergency and he became my permanent dentist. Pretty great for someone who hadn't been to the dentist in years and was winging it by choosing Dr. Dow. I don't regret the choice! Now my friends are all going to Dr. Dow as well. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Dr. Kevin Dow was phenomenal. I hadn't been to the dentist in four years but had an emergency when one of my back molars broke. I was able to make an appointment online and fill out the paperwork before arriving to the office. I was taken back immediately and the process was smooth. I appreciate the teaching atmosphere that the office creates. They took x-rays and photos and put them on the screen in front of me so that I could see exactly what they saw and have a better understanding of my current dental health.
I really appreciated Dr. Dow and his office staff making sure I knew the financial obligations for a best and worst case scenario with my treatment since it was an emergency as opposed to routine care. They explained not only how the process would work but the options and pricing before they started so I would feel comfortable and have no surprises.
The appointment was an comfortable as I could have possibly been in the dentist and I am already referring my friends to Dr. Dow. I highly recommend their services!

I've seen Dr. Dow a number of times - most recently for my invisalign, but also for a number of fillings. Dr. Dow is an excellent dentist. He listens to your concerns, explains things thouroughly without being in a rush, and does quality work. There were times I was really nervous and Dr. Dow put me t ease! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality dental care!

My overall experience from beginning to end at Chicago Styles Smiles was fantastic. Dr. Dow and his staff were professional, friendly, and timely. They eased my nerves and I did not experience any pain when my cavities were being filled. I will definitely continue to be a patient of Dr. Dow's.

Dr. Dow is wonderful! He was thorough, informative and very friendly. I needed to have an implant restored and he talked me through the whole process. He was more then helpful with all of my questions. It is great to have a tooth where for so long there was nothing. Located in the Chicago loop close to public transportation, which was easy access from my office.

Excellent service! I needed a brand new bridge which required a lot of work, a filling & new crown on the back tooth and rebuilding of the front tooth to hold the bridge in place. My previous dentist was not sure it could be replaced. Dr. Dow reassured me it could be done and explained all that was needed. I felt no pain as the work was being done. Dr. Dow explained everything throughout the procedure & always made sure I was comfortable & okay. The temporary bridge he made was great. My new bridge is now in & fits perfectly & looks great. Thank you for making my smile look great. His whole staff were wonderful.

I consistently receive excellent care & service @ this office. All of the staff are very friendly & helpful. Dr. Dow and the hygenists are very professional & I have been impressed with all of the treatments I've received. Most recently Dr. Dow has fitted me with invisalign and I am so excited to see the results! He even calls to follow up on his treatment to ensure all is OK. Great Practice!
