About Dr. Kevin Kwan
Dr. Kevin Kwan was born and raised in Huntington Beach, California. After graduating from Huntington Beach High School, he attended the University of California, Irvine. His passion for helping others ultimately led him to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry.
Following graduation, Dr. Kevin explored opportunities outside California and practiced dentistry for several years in Dallas, Texas. In 2014, feeling the pull of family, friends, and the beach, he returned to his hometown to join his father’s dental practice. He was excited to work side by side with his mentor.
Dr. Kevin is proficient in all aspects of general dentistry, with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, which he finds especially gratifying. He loves what he does and believes his patients always come first. Treating patients like family, his goal is to provide excellent dental care while ensuring their comfort.
A lover of new technology and current dental research, Dr. Kevin is a lifetime member of the United States Dental Institute and consistently exceeds the required hours of continuing education. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Society. Additionally, he is a certified Invisalign provider.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Kevin enjoys watching movies, playing tennis, running, fishing, snowboarding, and traveling. Above all, he values spending quality time with his wife, family, and friends.

Dr. Kwan and his staff are super nice and professional. There is no waiting time at all. My husband is really picky about who cleans his teeth because he has super sensitive teeth, but he loves Dr. Kwan's way of dentistry.

Dr Kwan is the best dentist I have ever seen! I get pretty nervous but he has a very kind and funny bedside manner. He is super gentle with cleanings and fillings, too. Honestly go to him if you have trouble at the dentist. It was a much better experience for me!!

The receptionist was a beam of light and very welcoming. Dr. Kwan was very thorough in his explanations and with my annual cleaning. Overall a very great experience and this will be where I will be going from now on for dental work.

Best dentist I've ever worked with! Genuinely cares about patients and is extremely transparent and kind. He did not try to upsell me on dental work and was very honest about my teeth's condition and what work I may need in the future, depending on how things evolve. I was seen immediately and he was very nice. Since it was my first time there he introduced himself and told me a little about him and his practice, which I appreciated. Throughout the x-rays and cleaning he told me what he was going to do each step and made sure that I was comfortable. I highly recommend!

Kevin was my favorite dentist I have ever had. He had awesome people skills and didn't rush through my visit. He took some stains off and chips that I had been living with for a long time in my standard cleaning procedure. I left feeling like a brand new set of teeth after the most thorough cleaning possible. Cool office and surroundings while in the chair!

I always have a pleasant experience at Legacy Dental Care. Dr. Kwan and his staff are always so welcoming, professional, considerate and friendly. Parking and scheduling appointments are also very easy. when treatment is needed, Dr. Kwan always takes his time to explain everything to me and why he would recommend a certain treatment. He is an honest and excellent doctor. Dr. Kwan and his hygienist never rush through my appointments. They are both very thorough, very very gentle, and have great chair-side manner. I never mind coming in for my dental appointments. I highly recommend Legacy Dental Care to anyone looking for a new dentist!

Awesome doctor and staff. Best office I have been in years. Dr. Kwan and his staff are amazing and my appointments have always been relaxing and painless. Their office is very clean, modern and high-tech. They use digital X-rays and its fast and an easy process. I get to watch T.V. during my appointments, which is something that was not available at my previous dental office. It really helps me relax and take my mind off the dental treatment. Excellent staff and service.

My visit was excellent. I was asked to come in right away and was seen by Dr. Kwan within 5 minutes. Dr. Kwan was very thorough in both his examination and explanation of the treatment I needed. His demeanor was friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kwan.

Dr. Kwan was able to fix my TMJ pain and I am so happy that I went to his office for treatment! For years I was suffering from face, neck, and shoulder pain. I constantly had headaches and ringing in the ears. My jaw would always click when opening my mouth. I was told by my medical doctor that I had migraine headaches. However, after being diagnosed by Dr. Kwan, he told me I had a TMJ problem that was causing all my symptom of pain. Within weeks of starting treatment with Dr. Kwan all my symptoms began to disappear. I only had to wear a mouth piece. No medication, needles or surgery was needed! If you have migraine or TMJ problems go see him ASAP!
