About Dr. Kevin Trotter
Dr. Trotter graduated from the State University of New York at Albany before receiving his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He completed his post-doctoral training at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He has studied extensively with the Pankey Institute and is currently continuing his education with the Dawson Academy.
His post-graduate education has included a two-year General Practice Orthodontic Program, as well as a two-year Dental Implant program at NYU. He is an Invisalign Preferred Provider and is trained in the use of oral sedation techniques for anxious patients.
Dr. Trotter is an active member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Second District Dental Association, and has a fellowship from the International Congress of Implantology.
Dr. Trotter lives in Brooklyn Heights and in his free time enjoys running, scuba diving, skiing, playing tennis, playing the guitar and spending time with his friends and family.

Everyone in the office is extremely friendly. I was taken into the office quickly and felt very comfortable throughout the whole process. Dr. Trotter is an amazing dentist who truly cared about my pain. Definitely would go back again!

Hygienist was amazing. She made me feel super comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Trotter was also very good. He was extremely personable and gave some great tips on keeping healthier teeth.

I came in for an emergency visit and they took me right away. Even called me in the morning to see if I wanted to come earlier because I was in pain. The doctor was great - easy to talk to and understanding of my situation.

This is a great office. As with virtually all practices, really long wait time (45 minutes +) but if you can bring a book, worth waiting for. The practice uses 3D imagine, xrays and digital photographs to take the guess work out of dentistry. You get a complete set of scans if you need, very helpful, professional and pleasant hygienists. Super clean and focused on making you comfortable. Will use as my new regular dentist. They use a diagnostic machine for ensuring that a potential cavity meets the threshold of treatment.

Unbelievably warm and welcoming staff. I dont think i have ever encountered such nice medical office staff before in my life (and I see a lot of doctors). Everyone seemed to make sure you felt comfortable, understood what was going on and answered any questions. They office was lovely, warm (it was freezing and snowing outside), very modern and they even took the time to tour the facility and explain all the machines you might encounter.
I was even more impressed when Dr. Trotter actually called me the day before the appointment to welcome me to the practice, to discuss what my problems were and to reassure me that they will help me address my biggest concerns in the order of my priority (not like many other dentists who push the most aggressive procedures).
I am very happy to have found Brooklyn Heights Dental. Thanks again ZocDoc!

Great dentist. Explained everything thoroughly. Answered all my questions. Gave a very thorough examination. In the past I avoided dentist visits and was very anxious. He really put me at ease, and the dental hygienists were wonderful and very accommodating as well. My appointment was today and I already recommended him to a friend.

The doctor's office claimed to have no idea I had an appointment, so they weren't able to provide a cleaning, just x-rays. Very frustrating, since it's hard enough to get to the dentist for one appointment.
