About Dr. Kiranpreet Narain

“Dr. K,” as her patients know her, is a Board Certified pediatric dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She grew up in southern Connecticut and attended UConn School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree to pursue a career in dentistry. After graduating, Dr. K trained in a general practice residency at New York Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, where she enhanced her hospital-based, emergency, and comprehensive dental treatment skills. Serving at community dental clinics and participating in dental outreach locally and internationally through multiple mission trips to Honduras, she realized her passion for working with children and families and the impact it can have in shaping the future. This ambition led her to complete a two-year pediatric dental specialty residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York, where she obtained advanced training to provide the highest quality care to infants, children, adolescents, and children with special health care needs. Her training included learning multiple behavior management techniques, from minimally invasive dentistry to completing many cases of full mouth rehabilitation with sedation and general anesthesia, as well as providing interceptive orthodontics. In addition, she completed a course in Pediatric Tongue Ties and became certified to perform frenectomies using a laser. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Connecticut Dental Association, American Dental Association, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Living right in town, Dr. K is excited to call Stratford her home and has paved her way to start Little Teeth of Stratford. Little Teeth’s mission is to provide the highest personalized quality care for each child through education, prevention, and compassion that will protect your child’s teeth for a lifetime!
