About Dr. Kourosh Kianpour
Dr. Kianpour brings more than two decades of experience in general, preventive, and cosmetic dentistry to PK Cosmetic and Family Dentistry, located in Sterling, Virginia. He sees patients from throughout Loudoun County.
He began his career pursuits in 1994, after moving to Washington DC and enrolling in the Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore. He graduated four years later, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Following graduation, Dr. Kianpour participated in a rigorous one-year postdoctoral residency in advanced general dentistry, followed by a one-year externship in comprehensive patient care with a focus on dental crowns and bridges. Before opening his practice, Dr. Kianpour served as an associate dentist at various practices in Rockville, Wheaton, and Germantown, Maryland.
From the time he was little, Dr. Kianpour knew he wanted to work in the field of medicine. He was born in Iran and attended an international school in India as an adolescent. This exposure to different parts of the world provides him with a global, cross-cultural perspective that enables him to relate to and understand his patients.
When Dr. Kianpour isn’t spending time with his patients or augmenting his professional skills, you can find him spending time with his lovely wife at their home in Reston, Virginia. Dr. Kianpour loves participating in outdoor activities, watching sports, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. He’s also a lifelong soccer fan who loves to play a pickup game whenever the opportunity arises.

My insurance company accepted to see the doctor but not for all tests. Doctor said to do those tests and showed the amount of tests but my insurance company didn't covered those amounts of tests.
