About Dr. Kristin D Curro-Mateer

Dr. Kristin Curro attended Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine where she graduated first in her class, and after graduating, she completed a General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital. Dr. Curro’s general practice residency provided her with a higher level of proficiency in all areas of general dentistry, including restorative dentistry, root canal therapy, pediatric (kids) dentistry, and oral surgery. Following her residency, Dr. Curro was chosen to continue her time at North Shore for their two-year program - Fellowship in Advanced Prosthetics and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Kristin Curro places great emphasis on making the dental experience positive for all of her patients by providing quality care in a pleasant environment. She understands that going to the dentist can make many people nervous; therefore, she focuses on making everyone feel comfortable and at ease while in her care. Dr. Curro is an active member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society, and Suffolk County Dental Society. Although she was raised in Greenlawn, Dr. Curro now lives in East Northport with her husband, Scott, a local orthodontist, their sons, Tyler, Dylan, and Brayden, and their dog, Pokie. In her free time, Dr. Curro enjoys spending as much time as possible with her family and friends, as well as going out to eat and trying new restaurants, exploring photography, and travelling. On the weekends you may find her on the Commack baseball or soccer fields cheering on her boys!
