About Dr. Kristy Lee
**We are not in-network with any insurance providers, but as a courtesy, we will file all claims to your PPO insurance on your behalf. This means you will receive reimbursement directly from your insurance company for the covered portion of your treatment.**
After discovering a passion for dentistry, Dr. Lee graduated in 2011 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from NYU College of Dentistry. This was made possible through the US Air Force's Health Professions Scholarship Program, which she participated in.
Dr. Lee then proudly served in the United States Air Force for five years, practicing at the Bolling Air Force Base in Washington DC, the Osan Air Force Base in South Korea, and finally the Pentagon. Upon completing her military service, she went on to pursue an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency at Bolling Air Force Base.
Dr. Lee's goal is to make each patient feel at ease and provide them with the advanced, personalized dental care they deserve. That's why our practice is dedicated to treating your family with the same care and attention we would give our own family.
Committed to staying at the forefront of dental techniques and technology, Dr. Lee continually pursues continuing education opportunities. Her focus isn't just on fixing teeth, but on addressing the root causes of oral health issues so that each patient not only has a beautiful smile; but most importantly, a healthy one as well.
When she's not in the office, you can find Dr. Lee spending quality time with her husband and their two children, Noah and Audrey. She also enjoys exploring new countries and their unique customs and cuisines. As a self-proclaimed foodie, she's always happy to provide stellar restaurant recommendations. And to help relieve the stresses of the day, you might spot her on her yoga mat.

This was my first time with a new dentist after seeing the same one for 40 years. In the past I need sedation just for cleaning but at Modern Haus Dental I had no sedation and No Bleeding. The cleaning was the best in my life. I was given a detailed plan of what needed doing and there was no pressure on anything. My husband is excited to become a patient as is my adult daughter. I can't say enough positive things about my experience.

I had the most incredible experience at Modern Haus Dental . Dr Kristy Lee by far is the greatest dentist I’ve ever met. Dr. Lee was super professional and amazing! She’s very detail oriented and had all the fancy tools. She showed me my teeth with an intraoral camera and scans. My last Dentist told me I needed a crown and I was postponing it but I felt very comfortable moving forward with Dr. Lee. During the procedure, she showed me every step and explained everything very thoroughly. I’m an anxious patient and she even had laughing gas to calm my nerves. The dentist will never be the same again lol! If I could give a six star review, I would, this was the best experience I’ve ever had, I will be coming back! I found my dentist.

So happy I found this office. Dr. Lee is professional, knowledgeable and kind. You can tell she knows her stuff and has your best interest at heart. Never felt like I was being oversold unnecessary treatment which was a problem I faced in the past at other dental offices. Dr. Lee is honest and does good work. As someone who is fearful of the dentist, this is the most at ease I've been. I've never recommended a dental office before, but I have been spreading the word about Modern Haus Dental - and that's saying a lot!

Dr. Lee is by far the best dentist I've had. She genuinely cares about her patients and goes out of her way to deliver the best possible treatment outcomes. As someone who has had a lot of dental work done, Dr. Lee is the only dentist who has gone the extra mile for me, effectively developing and executing a comprehensive long-term treatment plan in coordination with top specialists across multiple disciplines. Further, she has an incredible and professional staff who are friendly, knowledgeable, and great at their jobs. Modern Haus Dental is without question the best dental practice in the DMV.

Dr Lee was great! She took the time to explain all of the procedures I needed in detail with photos and had a great sense of humor. I had to wait a little bit because of an emergency patient earlier but it was still less time than other dentists.

I went to Dr. Lee because of pain in my wisdom tooth. I was very nervous and she made me comfortable, took out the tooth and got me out of pain and I was on my way to pick up my daughter in less than an hour! She also called to check on me same day! Awesome

Dr. Lee replaced the Invisalign composite buttons that fell off my teeth which helps to keep my Invisalign trays in place. She got me in and out with Smooth Teeth!! and everything has been Great!!!

Dr. Lee is the first dentist I've every felt truly comfortable with. Over the course of my treatments with her, she took the time to explain things about my dental health that no dentist has ever explained. I knew more coming out of my first visit with Dr. Lee about what is going on with my oral health than I had learned in the previous 30 years. On top of that, she uncovered some serious and long standing issues with one tooth in particular and laid out a detailed treatment plan that didn't leave me guessing on what the next steps were. I knew early on this was a true professional I could trust, and that meant a lot to me.
I would recommend Dr. Lee to friends and family, I seriously can't say enough good things about her.

Dr. Lee was very thorough in her examination and treatment. She explained the cause of my dental conditions and had a detailed treatment plan for me. She also gave me great pointers on how I could improve my diet and other preventive measures to prevent future decay. She had excellent chairside manner and made my fear of going to the dentist go away. The injection didn't even hurt at all. Highly recommended.

Kristy is the best Dentist that I have had in my nearly 3 decades of military service! Kristy truly cares about her patients and is committed to continuity of care and dental excellence. Her assessment skills, explanation of procedures, execution of care and follow-up is absolutely the best.
