About Dr. Kunal Karan
Dr. Karan began his professional journey in dentistry in India more than 20 years ago. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, one of India's premier academic institutions. He then moved to the US to continue his academic and clinical training, earning a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific, San Francisco.
Dr. Karan's highest priority is to provide his patients with high-quality treatment. He believes that learning is a lifelong process and continually works to expand his skills and knowledge. He has participated in extensive continuing education programs in implant dentistry, endodontics (root canal treatment), oral surgery (atraumatic tooth extractions), and full mouth rehabilitation dentistry. Along with being a highly skilled clinician, Dr. Karan is a published author in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has held numerous clinical leadership roles. An avid sports fan, he served as the team dentist for FC Dallas during the 2012 MLS season.
Dr. Karan moved to Texas in 2011 and now calls the DFW area home with his wife and two sons.

Overall visit took a hour and a half I sat there for 45 min before seeing the doctors then told me after we did a consultation that all they could do is a cleaning because of the time and they where about to close. Don’t book appointments if your just going to be everywhere else but the person. Who booked the appointments. I have never went to a dentist like this and I would never go back or recommend. On zocdoc he looks good. But go on yelp and it’s a horrrible place. And has 2.5 stars.

I feel great. The visit was very comfortable. Sabrina calmed me down before the treatment. Randy explained and answered all questions in detail about the treatment. Dr. Kunal did not let me feel any pain and was very good with shots. Sassy too made me comfortable and Lindsey was quick and very good with the deep cleaning. Overall great experience.
