About Dr. Kunal Karan

Dr. Karan started his professional journey in Dentistry in India more than 20 years ago. He received his Bachelor in Dental Surgery Degree from one of the premier academic institutions in India, Manipal College of Dental Sciences. He then moved to the US to continue his academic and clinical training. Dr. Karan earned a Master of Science Degree in Oral Biology from University of Missouri, Kansas City and his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from University of the Pacific, San Francisco. Dr. Karan's highest priority is to provide his patients with high quality treatment. He believes that learning is a lifelong process and continues to grow his skills and knowledge. He has participated in extensive continuing education programs in the fields of Implant Dentistry, Endodontics (Root Canals Treatment), Oral Surgery (Atraumatic Tooth Extractions) and Full Mouth Rehabilitation Dentistry. Along with being a highly skilled clinician, Dr. Karan is a published author in peer reviewed scientific journal and has held numerous clinical leadership roles. He is an avid sports fan and served as the team Dentist for FC Dallas for the 2012 MLS season. Dr. Karan moved to Texas in 2011 and now calls DFW area home with his wife and two sons.

I feel great. The visit was very comfortable. Sabrina calmed me down before the treatment. Randy explained and answered all questions in detail about the treatment. Dr. Kunal did not let me feel any pain and was very good with shots. Sassy too made me comfortable and Lindsey was quick and very good with the deep cleaning. Overall great experience.
