“Dr, Sung was very Professional, she explained all aspects of my treatments, what she would clean my teeth with and what to expect after the cleaning, she prescribed antibiotics and pain medication in case of pain. I had thought that she accepted my Health first insurance, she did not so I paid for my visit out of pocket but I should have made sure of this before my appointment, if I can be reimbursed by my insurance for payment out of pocket, I will definitely see Dr. Sung again.”

Dr. Kyung E. Sung chose dentistry as her profession with the understanding that it is a specialty of medicine in which medical knowledge, clinical skills, and compassion must come together to serve people. Dr. Sung received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Columbia University, College of Dental Medicine, in 2006. She has worked in private practice as an associate dentist, concentrating in General and Cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Sung provides the highest quality dental care to all and enjoys meeting and getting to know her patients. Dr Sung is brisk and is actually the one doing the cleaning, at least for my appointment. She completed my cleaning in 15 minutes which do make me question and wonder if my teeth is cleaned well enough as my previous cleanings with hygienist typically last at least 30 minutes. On bedside manners, not the gentlest nor the most patient, but she does give you the download on your teeth/gum conditions and what to watch out for.

She was the first dentist I met after moving to New York, and I was extremely satisfied with the experience. I felt so comfortable and well cared for that I would gladly recommend her to anyone I know.

Dr. Sung was excellent during the entire consultation process. Even before the treatment, Dr. Sung was very responsive in coordinating for X Rays and other documents I have to bring during my visit. Even though my case is quite unique and difficult to prescribe, Dr. Sung gave me a really clear explanation, and even suggested that I visit another orthodentic dentist first before undergoing the implant procedure with her. Following the visit, Dr. Sung gave a very clear explanation in terms of price quotes and next steps, even helping me find possible orthodontics I can visit.

The visit was amazing. I was so nervous coming in but Dr. Sung took excellent care of me. I could tell she genuinely cared about my health and my teeth. She ensured I was comfortable through the whole visit. I hadn't been to the dentist in 3 years due to fear but I am so glad I decided to go and found Dr. Sung!

Dr Sung does good work. I got veneers done by dr Sung. My root canal dr complemented on the veneers when I went for my Root canals. Certified by another professional. Very Happy!

Everyone is very kind and keep in mind your needs. Dr. Sung made my appointment go very smoothly. She made sure to break down the issues and made a plan on how to better take care of my teeth. it's been a while since I saw a dentist, and her and the team made me feel at ease.
