About Dr. Kyungsik Moon
Dr. Kris Moon grew up in Seoul, South Korea, where he excelled in art, winning many prizes locally. He later immigrated to America, where he attended Azusa University.
After accompanying dentists to Mongolia after college and watching them provide dental care for the underprivileged, he decided to become a dentist. His early days as an artist and working with his hands helped him shine at Case Western Reserve Dental School, where he earned many distinctions, including the Dean’s Award for academic excellence.
Today, Dr. Moon is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Washington Dental Association, and a member of the Seattle King County Dental Society. He also dedicates many hours each year to continuing education, especially in dental implants and implant dentistry. He is a certified Invisalign provider.
When Dr. Moon is not treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife Sophie and their two children Lydia and Caleb. Inspired by his long-ago trip to Mongolia, you may also find him providing dentistry to those in need during his off-hours.

Felt like I didn't belong there. I was early to my appointment but still waited patiently. People came in after me but was called before me. Rushed through my appointment once I got in the chair because it was time for everyone to leave. I was the last patient to leave just got a cleaning and X-ray. I hate to make it a racial thing but that's what it felt like… the doctor was good and booked me an appointment for the following week but I really felt like I shouldn't have been there and wasn't wanted there. Like I was the least of their priorities.

It was really nice to finally sit down with a dentist who immediately answered my questions amd created a treatment plan for me. He used visuals and included the option of dental implants and its disadvantages and bridges. An itemized quote of how much will be paid out of pocket was included and I was given an honest opinion. I feel like i can trust his good judgment.
