About Dr. Lacolis Reed III

Dr. LaColis Reed, III is a native of Peoria, Illinois. He received his undergraduate degree at Morehouse College (Atlanta, Georgia) in 1997. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Howard University College of Dentistry (Washington D.C.) in 2002. He completed his General Practice Residency at Kings County Hospital Center (Brooklyn, NY) in 2004 and his Pediatric Dental Residency was completed at Maimonides Medical Center (Brooklyn, NY) in 2017. Dr. Reed has also been a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry since 2009. When asked what he enjoys most about his job, Dr. Reed states: “I enjoy having the ability to improve and maintain the oral health of my patients. I also receive an additional benefit from seeing my patients grow into upstanding individuals as they progress through life.” Dr. Reed currently resides in the Raleigh area with his wife and two sons. In his spare time, Dr Reed enjoys home gardening, college/professional football, and music.
