Larry Dougherty, DDS, together with his wife Dr. Ana Paula Ferraz-Dougherty, make up our team of Garden Ridge dentists at Rolling Oaks Dental. Larry grew up in Columbus, GA, and was Valedictorian of his high school class as well as an Eagle Scout. In his free time, Dr. Dougherty enjoys playing guitar and cycling.
Dr. Dougherty earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was an adjunct faculty member at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry for two years.

Would not recommend this guy. Office is beautiful and the assistant was nice. He came off very arrogant and had poor bedside manner. If you have any issues he points the blame on the patient and just makes them feel uncomfortable. I had a plus 1 with me and I asked if it was just me but they agreed they noticed the same. Will be finding a different dentist unfortunately.

I had to change my appointment but luckily the staff was able to be flexible!
The front staff & dental assistants were friendly and helpful with any questions I had throughout the exam.

The Doctor was super judgmental and didn’t know how to handle patients. Told me I had to spend a few grand before fixing the actual issue I was having or addressing it. Felt like a total money grab to me….. will not be returning.

did not relate they moved. The lady didn't even no how to tell to how to get there. Prices to high. wouldn't listen to no. pressure me to take
out a loan and after and before I told her my husband was laid off . all I want was a cleaning.

The office was new and clean I loved the large picture windows where you could see all the birds feeding and landscape relaxing environment put me at ease, and with the professionalism of the staff and the doctor explaining in detail all the procedures and brought things to my attention. Nobody has ever told me about and I’m 63 years old..

It was a great first visit. Dr. Dougherty was very informative and talked to you about what is going on with your teeth and what steps you should take to protect them. Nadis and Sky took really good care of me while getting some dental work done. Nadis was very patient and really focused on making sure everything was done right. Will be going back soon.

Honestly, the best dentist office I’ve ever been to. The office was clean and modern. It had a very refreshing feel to it, and the staff added to the experience with their friendly and positive manner. I was picked up from the waiting area early and the teeth cleaning was quick, painless, and covered by my insurance :) Also, the dentist was so kind and knowledgeable. He really wanted to get to know me and make me feel confident with my smile.
