About Dr. Laura Frangella
Dr. Laura Frangella graduated magna cum laude from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and was recognized by the American College of Prosthodontics for outstanding achievement in the study of prosthodontics. She completed her General Dentistry residency at Nassau University Medical Center.
Dr. Frangella is trained in Advanced Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry, Endodontics, Periodontics, Orthodontics, and is certified in Invisalign and Botox and Dermal Fillers.
Dr. Frangella donates her time with the Smile Day program, which provides voluntary dental care to the local community. She is committed to a high standard of excellence in personalized dental care.

Dr. Frangella was excellent. As a new patient she was the one who actually did my cleaning, which I was not expecting but greatly appreciated. She was extremely attentive and thorough. I will definitely be sticking with this dental office. I have already recommended her to several of my colleagues.

I have always had a fear of dentists since I've had several traumatic experiences, with more aggressive approaching dentists that left me intimidated. Dr. Frangella was beyond professional, personable and put me at ease right away with her direct attention to my concerns and curiosity on any treatment(s) I was curious about as well as needing after assessing my concerns. She answered me honestly and clarified so much mystery most dentists have left me with. I now actually look forward to future appointments and check-ups, which is a miracle for me.

I usually DREAD the dentist because it has always been painful for me overall. Dr. Frangella was very quick and thorough - she told me exactly what she saw and found and what her suggestions were going forward as far as teeth care and dentist visits. I have to go back for a cavity filling (womp womp) but am confident that it will be a quick process!

Dr. Frangella and the office staff are professional, knowledgable and courteous. Prior to my visit, the office was on top of things and reached out for my insurance info. This really minimized my wait time and future follow-up appointments. During my visit, the X-Ray technician and hygienist are both gentle and thorough, they were really paying attention to my needs and explained everything clearly. Dr. Frangella was also clear during my dental examination and informed me of everything I need to know. Overall this has been the best dentist experience in NYC, and I would highly recommend the practice.

Everyone was lovely from beginning to end. Prompt, efficient, very friendly, kind and completely professional. Dr. Laura was excellent. Top-notch in every way. My very stained teeth are completely white with just a cleaning, and I left with an electric toothbrush and good advice! Look forward to going back in August!

Really great office and doctor. I learned more about teeth (and my teeth) in 15 minutes in her chair than I ever have before. I mean, really.
I have never been so confident in a diagnosis before, and was very impressed by the treatment advice, which was focused on what was best for me and my teeth, not on unnecessary procedures and cost.
To top it all off, they honored their commitment to see me even though Zoc Doc double booked me and another guy for their last appointment slot of the day. And despite being kept late, they were so extremely friendly that I nearly asked them all out for drinks afterward :)
Do yourself a favor and make this your go-to dentist.

Dr. Frangella and her staff are fantastic. From the moment I entered the office I was greeted. I had less than 1 minute wait time. There were so many good magazines in the office, I wanted to have more time to look at them.
Dr. Frangella has made relocating a breeze. During my visit she spoke to me like an equal, explaining what she saw and what she was going to do. The office has a great view (27th floor!) and I was able to fill out my paperwork online prior to arriving. For anyone interested in tech, or their own edification about health, I was able to watch my X-rays pop up on an HD flat-screen immediately after they were taken.
My checkout was seamless and I received a fantastic Oral B electric toothbrush as a new patient.
As someone who gets nervous at the dentist, I had a great experience. I would strongly recommend Dr. Frangella to anyone seeking a dentist in the NYC area.

She was great! Both the doctor and the hygienist were friendly, knowledgable and helpful. They took the time to answer all my questions (and I had many!) and were patient and informative. Was happy with the results as well (nice clean teeth), and the free fancy sonic electric toothbrush they gave me was a real bonus. Nice touch!

I really liked her. Everything was as quick and painless as a dental cleaning can be. She pays attention to details and gives lots of good pointers and advice. They give a free electric toothbrush at your first visit, which I think is awesome!
