Dr. Laura Huling has been a resident of Brookfield, CT since the age of 3. Before joining Dental Associates of Connecticut as a Pediatric Dental Specialist, Dr. Huling attended Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y. , went on to dental school at the University of Connecticut. There, Dr. Huling was involved with the University’s pediatric dental specialty program treating children of varying levels of ability and medical comorbidities. Dr. Huling received multiple awards in dental school, including the Fox award, recognizing the best overall dental student in her graduating class and the pediatric dentistry award recognizing her as the student with the most promise in the field. She prides herself in her ability to treat children in a fun and comfortable environment and strives to help children become lifelong dental patients, without fears and phobias. Her goal: To have her young patients leave the office proud of themselves and wearing a smile. As a working mom, Dr. Huling understands the pressures her pediatric patient’s parents feel and is committed to making the entire dental care experience easier and less stressful. Dr. Huling is a member of the ADA and AAPD and has practicing privileges at the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center (Children’s Hospital). In her spare time, Dr. Huling enjoys cooking, playing volleyball and basketball, singing and spending her time with her husband, Elijah, and 2 sons, Carter and Eli.
