About Dr. Laura Martinez-Aversano
Dr. Laura Aversano earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She practiced dentistry for 20 years in Illinois before her recent move to Colorado. For the past 14 years, Dr. Aversano was the sole owner of Manhattan Dental Care in Manhattan, IL. Committed to giving back, she actively participated in the Illinois Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped, Operation Care Package, her local food pantry, and her own Veteran’s Day Program. Manhattan Dental Care hosted a “candy buy back” where children received payment per pound for Halloween candy donated to Operation Care Package. Dr. Aversano matched the donations, and Manhattan Dental Care collected more than 1,000 pounds of candy every year.
Her community service earned recognition such as Business of the Year and induction into her college’s inaugural Hall of Fame. During her career, she served as an associate professor of fixed and removable prosthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, working closely with junior and senior dental students during their clinical training. Dr. Aversano is deeply devoted to continuing education, with additional training in CEREC, implants, and Botox for cosmetic and therapeutic use. The one-visit crown or CEREC technology has been part of her practice since 2011, and she is excited to bring her experience and this technology to Havana Street Dental.
Dr. Aversano strongly believes in providing quality dental care by listening to her patients and ensuring their comfort. The Havana Street Dental staff plays a crucial role in easing patient concerns, and Dr. Aversano requires each team member to show gentle and passionate care toward all patients. The team is an important part of the practice, and you will often hear her called Dr. Laura because of her friendly and approachable nature.

Dr. Aversano was amazing. She was professional and eased my mind immediately. She also worked very well with our children and they definitely will look forward to their next cleaning. Do yourself a favor and use her for your next dental needs!

I had broken a crown and they went out of their way to take care of me and get me in on a day and time that was convenient. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Once I arrived I was taken back right away. I was impressed with all their state of the art equipment, including a machine that made the crown right in the office! Talk about convenience. I was able to walk out with my brand new crown on the same visit, saving me an additional trip to the office. Dr. Laura is one of the best dentists that has ever worked on my teeth. I had no pain or discomfort whatsoever during the procedure. My crown fit perfectly and I have had no problems ever since. I would highly recommend Dr. Laura and the staff at Havana Street Dental for all of your dental needs!

I can't say enough about the wonderful care I received at Havana Street Dental. Dr. Laura not only made my appointment comfortable but she was very through. I was able to get my work completed and my new crown on the same day! I will continue to refer my family and friends to Havana Street Dental!
