Dr. Leila Khansari graduated from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She was awarded with the Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2002. She moved back to San Diego the same year.
Dr. Leila takes pride in performing the highest quality dental care and treats every patient with her gentle professional touch. She has been keeping up to date with the latest techniques and materials to perform a wide array of treatments. She expands her knowledge in different areas of dentistry by regularly participating in various continuing education courses.

The dental filling I received on Friday is insufficient too thin, leading to a lack of support. This causes intense discomfort whenever I consume food or beverages, which is highly upsetting. It’s imperative that this issue be addressed promptly. Regrettably, the dental office remains closed until Tuesday, and my numerous attempts to reach out via the emergency dental line through texts and voicemails have gone unanswered. I am not sure what will happen for a tooth left unprotected for that long

My new favorite dentist! Dr. Leila and her staff are incredibly warm and friendly. I got my teeth whitened before my wedding and the results were amazing, would highly recommend before a big event. The seat was comfortable and her staff did a great job explaining exactly what to expect so there were no surprises or discomfort. I also really liked how there was almost no waiting in the lobby. Overall a great experience!

Dr. Leila was amazing. I had multiple fillings and they were both done effortlessly, without any pain or discomfort. The staff was also great and I was taken to my chair within minutes of my arrival. Overall great experience.

Easily the best dental experience I have had. Everyone at Smiles by Dr. Leila put you, as the patient, first and make sure you are completely taken care of from the moment you walk in. Staff was very warm and welcoming and the cleanliness was unparalleled. I trust all my dental care with Dr. Leila.

I had an old crown break and Dr Leila was so very careful in the removal of the remnants that I had no pain afterwards. Now I have a beautiful new crown, and my tooth has been saved. Well worth the investment. Thank you!

My experience of going to a dentist has been changed since I visited Dr. Leila's office. The welcoming & warmth care was very noticeable as I engaged in conversation with the receptionist. All staff including Dr. Leila were very receptive & attuned to my needs. Dr. Leila's expertise, soothing, & calming voice gave me the assurance that I'm under a great care. I shared my experience with many of my family & friends & I'm sure they will have incredible & exceptional experience too.

Dr Leila is kind, gentle and very knowledgeable. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my teeth. this is a new location for her but I've been seeing her for more than 5 years! My 3 teenagers see her as well and love her! Totally recommend her for all your dental needs!
