About Dr. Leisa Robotham

Dr. Leisa Robotham was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, and describes her young self as a kid who loved going to the dentist, despite knowing other people dreaded it. She loved it so much that she didn't know people had a fear of the dentist until she got older. She even reminded her parents when it was time for her dentist appointments. Dr. Robotham was in high school when she got a set of braces and realized her interest in a dental career. She graduated and moved to the United States to pursue her education towards that goal. Dr. Robotham went to Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C., and completed her General Practice Residency at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Dr. Robotham always wanted to be a business owner, and is proud to open Lakewood Dental Studio, here in Dallas, where she can practice dentistry on her own terms and make decisions that put her patients’ needs and comfort level above all else. She treats her patients and staff with genuine compassion and empathy, and actively tailors her care to meet her patient’s needs. Outside of the office Dr. Robotham enjoys exploring the vibrant Dallas food scene, checking out restaurants (especially for brunch) with her husband, Grant, or happy hour with her friends. She appreciates a great gym workout as much as a mellow day hanging with Grant and their dog, Porter, or curling up with a captivating read.
