About Dr. Linda Hunponu-Wusu
Dr Linda Hunponu-Wusu (aka Dr Wusu) received her DMD degree at University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ in 2006. Having grown up in Nigeria, West Africa she came here to the United States on a quest to fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a dentist. Growing up as a child, she was frequently at the dentist and soon overcame her fear and made friends with her dentist who took the time to explain the necessary procedures. This is why she exudes a balance of compassion, great skill and believes very strongly in patient education. She is able to establish an essential and reliable level of trust and confidence in her advice regarding their dental care. She's a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and the Bergen County Dental Association. In a constant quest to give her patients the best care, she regularly takes continuing education courses including courses in cosmetic dentistry, root canal treatment, crowns and bridges, implant restoration and invisalign. Her goal is to help you attain, and maintain great oral health -a key factor in overall good health- and a beautiful smile you can be proud to have.

Had an appointment at 2:45pm for pain in back molar due to old fill in deteriorating. Made it to office at 2:45pm (tried to arrive at 2:30 but got there at 2:45pm due to office being in Roselle and not Roselle park, and I went to the wrong place). Arrived at the scheduled time, signed in. Got X-rays taken. Doc looks and said she saw 2 cavities but I couldn’t afford to fill a 2nd one plus I couldn’t feel it, so I asked to just mind the one causing me pain for now, and I’d return for the other.
After saying this, Doc then sent in her assistant who advised me that doc had to leave to pick up her kids and reschedule me for another day to come get the cavity filled. So that left me with that time off from work wasted due to having to use PTO to go tend to my tooth, and I’m still in pain. I guess I wasn’t spending enough money to get help, but if I could give negative stars I would. What hurts most is I picked this doc off the strength of her being a Black female doc. But lesson learned.

Everyone in the office was so nice and attentive. They constantly made sure I was okay during my cleaning and were able to do some additional work that I needed done on the spot.

This was my first visit to this office. I was content with the friendliness from start to finish. I came in for a cleaning, x-rays and to discuss my options for an old crown. I loved the cleaning that I received as well as Dr. Hunponu-Wusu patience with me because I had lot of questions. I didn't feel rushed, all my concerns were quelled and clarity provided with inquiries that I had. I look forward to making this office my permanent place to have service rendered on my teeth.

Awesome. I suffer from low self esteem and depression mixed with tmj and bruxism . I was very worried about my teeth. She was so understanding and even let me have my moment while keeping it real WITHOUT judgement. She didn’t know who she was encountering but her mannerism and compassion made it easy. This visit was excellent. I was seen right away. The staff was very friendly. This was my first visit and although I was nervous, the staff made me feel comfortable and there was no pain! Dr Linda Hunponu-Wusu communicated everything clearly and I would definitely recommend her to everyone!
