About Dr. Lisa Chen
Dr. Lisa Chen grew up in North Carolina and completed her doctor of dental surgery degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Go Heels! Upon graduation, she moved to New York and completed two years of residency at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Chen is proficient in all aspects of dentistry and takes the time to listen and establish a relationship with every patient. Dr. Chen has a fun-loving and caring personality and believes in treating the patient as a whole and giving patients a positive overall experience. In her free time, she loves gallery hopping and exploring new restaurants in the city!

I'm so happy to have found UpperEastSmiles. The entire staff was remarkable. From the front desk, dental assistant, and dentist. I was made feel very comfortable and welcomed. Dr.Chen is absolutely amazing. She was through, addressed my concerns and was clear and concise with my available options. I can't recommend this place enough. You won't regret it!

I was dissatisfied with my previous dentist, and made an appointment to see Dr. Chen today, Dr. Chen spent enough time with me to understand the purpose of my visit--an inlay implanted by another dentist fell out. She carefully explained the treatment options and answered all my questions. She then completed the recommended procedure. Dr. Chen took appropriate steps so that the procedure was pain free. After today's visit, I decided that Dr. Chen will be my new dentist. I would highly recommend Dr, Chen to anyone seeking dental care on the UES.

Superb! Dr. Lisa Chen was professional and friendly. She explained clearly to me the situation of my teeth and the plan for it. She carried out the procedure right away, so I don’t have to come back multiple times. The staff were polite and the pricing was reasonable with my insurance. There was no wait in line with my appointment. It was an amazing experience for me. I would highly recommend anyone who needs caring on the teeth to make an appointment with Dr. Chen and the team.

Dr. Lisa is an excellent dentist. She explained everything in detail in advance and throughout the procedure. She performed the examination annd cleaning in the most gentle way I had ever experienced.
