“The wait time was short and the front desk staff was very attentive. I was informed in detail every aspect of the visit. High tech scans and x-ray. I saw every aspect and detail of my teeth and gums. Shout out to the lovely lady that performed my cleaning. She was very patience and answered all of my questions prior to the start of my cleaning. I received the best cleaning I ever had with minimal pain, with massaging chair! My only complaint was my out of pocket was really high. Definitely recommend!”

About Dr. Lisa Handler

Dr. Handler attended Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following graduation, she interned in an implant office in Birmingham, Michigan. She then relocated to New York City, where she began working with DDS Group.
Dr. Handler practices both General and Cosmetic Dentistry, with an emphasis on the general oral health of her patients. She is certified in Cerec, Lumineers, and Invisalign. She has been named one of DDS Group's Invisalign Premier Providers consecutively since 2007.
Dr. Handler strongly believes in continuing education and remains actively involved in the American Dental Society, New York Dental Society, First District Dental Society, and Peninsula Hospital Dental Society. Her dedication to the profession has earned her recognition by New York State.
Through her commitment to continuing education, understanding the essential needs for good oral health, and focusing on her patients' sensitivity, she has gained a loyal following of dedicated patients.

Wow. Easily the best experience at a dentist I've ever had. I went in extremely nervous, as I had an acute issue and also hadn't been to the dentist in many years. Everyone in the office put me at ease immediately. From the front desk staff to the technicians and everyone I interacted with—SO nice.
Dr. Handler has a great bedside manner. She explains everything clearly and also tells you what to expect. It turned out that she no longer accepted my insurance (Aetna), but she gave me a consultation and recommendations anyway, and then personally matched me with a different dentist in the practice that does accept it. I met with Dr. Bari Kaplan immediately and got a much-needed cleaning. Dr. Kaplan's bedside manner was also incredible—funny, straightforward, and warm. And she had a very gentle touch! First time I had no pain during a cleaning. Dr. Handler then made sure I got an appointment for the same week with the oral surgeon I needed to see and walked me out of the appointment once everything was scheduled and set.
Could not recommend the whole practice more!

I'm a high anxiety patient, and Dr. Handler took the time to make me comfortable and explain everything she was seeing. She evn got me to sit for a cleaning in the same viait woth Gigi, the most amazing hygienist. She went slowly, with light hands, more concerned with making me comfortable enough to be willing to come baxk.than with the fact that she had been ready to leave. Highly recommend both of them.

Olga was the nicest hygenist I've ever had at a dentist's office. Dr. Handler was equally as friendly and although the office seemed busy, she took the time to answer my questions and walk me through the work I have to go back for in January.
I HATE the dentist and I don't even mind that I'll be back in less than a month because these were the nicest most considerate people I have ever encountered!
